Canvas Framing
At Jalee Impressions, we take pride in our expertise in Canvas Framing and stretching. Each piece is handled with care and framed with the highest quality materials. Let us add the finishing touch to your artwork and preserve it for years to come.

Canvas stretching is a crucial step in the process of creating a beautiful piece of art. It involves stretching the canvas over a wooden frame to ensure that it remains taut and smooth. This not only enhances the appearance of the artwork but also helps to preserve it for years to come. At our studio, we use high-quality materials and techniques to ensure that your canvas is stretched to perfection.
There are two main types canvas stretching: gallery wrap and standard wrap. Gallery wrap stretches the canvas over a thicker frame, allowing the painting to be displayed without a frame. Standard wrap stretches the canvas over a thinner frame and requires a frame for display. Both types of stretching have their own unique benefits and can be chosen based on personal preference and the desired aesthetic.

Once a canvas has been stretched, you are able to encase it within a frame to safeguard it against potential harm and to impart a polished appearance. The frame also confers supplementary reinforcement to the canvas, preventing it from drooping or sagging with the passage of time. It is recommended to select a frame that complements the artwork and elevates its overall aesthetic appeal.
